Prof. Nassehi Vice President of the LMU from October 1st, 2025

On July 23, 2025, Professor Nassehi was elected Vice President of LMU for a six-year term by the LMU University Council.
The term of office begins on October 1, 2025. Professor Nassehi will take a leave of absence from his chair to take up his new position, thus ending his 27-year teaching career at the Department of Sociology.
The chair will be represented by Prof. Dr. Jasmin Siri in the winter term 2025/26 until it is filled again, so that the chair's course offerings will continue uninterrupted.
